FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is used for regulated passing of visitors to side-shows or other places where counting of visitors is required. Turnstile has vertical axle mounted on base, and revolving unit with body installed on axle for rotation around it. Attached to radial rods of revolving unit through certain pitch are vertical bars. Mounted on base beyond passage through same pitch are stationary vertical bars displaced relative to bars of revolving unit through half-pitch. At rotation of revolving unit, its bars are moving between base-mounted bars. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 dwg
