FIELD: power-plant engineering. SUBSTANCE: rotoclone reactor 11 is mounted in upper part of Stirling engine 1. With working medium (helium) moving in engine 1 from cold cavity 4 through cooler 5, regenerator 8, and rotoclone reactor 11 to hot cavity 10, it partially heats up in regenerator 8 and passes through clearance 14 between casing 13 and vessel 12 to channels 17 and through them enters vessel 12 where it leaves guides 18 and catches upper layer of radioactive metal salts melt, mixes it up and splits it into droplets and foam while heating to melt temperature, then goes over central channel 15 to hot cavity 10. Droplet catcher 19 prevents fouling of engine 1 with melt droplets. Check valve 16 makes it impossible for working medium to enter central channel 15 immediately upon leaving clearance 14. Heated working medium expands in hot cavity 10 with the result that engine 1 performs positive work. Then working medium goes in reverse direction over channel 15 and enters clearance 14 through check valve 16 bypassing vessel 12; then it goes through regenerator 8, cooler 5, and enters cold cavity 4. After that, working cycle is repeated. Admission piping 20 and discharge piping 21 are provided for changing fuel mixture melt in vessel 12. EFFECT: improved design. 1 dwg
