FIELD: power engineering; devices for spraying fuels, including heavy fuels. SUBSTANCE: acoustic injector includes housing 1 with outlet hole 2 and pipe 3 mounted along axis of hole 2 and used for supply of liquid to be atomized. Pipe 3 is provided with vortex chamber 4 with contraction cylindrical section 5 terminating in reflector 6 over periphery. Reflector 6 forms circular resonating cavity 7 together with end of pipe 3. Inlet of cavity 7 is directed towards circular slit 8 which is perpendicular to axis of injector and its outlet is directed towards outlet hole 2. Ratio of passage area at inlet of resonating cavity 7 to passage area at its outlet ranges form 0.4 to 0.6; ratio of volume of resonating cavity 7 to passage area at its outlet ranges from (1-3)•10-3. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 dwg
