SUBSTANCE: method includes excitation of electromagnetic oscillations in microstrip line with known parameters of complex dielectric permittivity, measurement of microstrip line impedance in idle running and short-circuit modes with microstrip line positioned on surface of tested specimen of material 1 and in case tested specimen is unavailable, and calculation of dielectric permittivity of tested specimen of material.
