GAS PRESSURE CONTROLLER Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: engine manufacture, gear controlling pressure of fuel gas in gas internal combustion engine. SUBSTANCE: upper part of cavity of high-pressure controller is made in the form of cylindrical bore that houses sensitive element made in the form of control valve. Its outer cylindrical surface has annular groove with radial conduits and there is axial conduit along axis bordering on radial conduits. Control valve is fitted with pressure spring and adjusting screw put into cover. Bore abuts with its internal cavity on internal high-pressure cavity and is equipped with ring protrusion to limit travel of control valve. Cavity of low-pressure controller is fabricated in the form of cylinder with internal partition dividing internal cavity into two additional spaces- upper and lower. Cylindrical bores housing sensitive element in the form of control valve and piston are made in partition and lower cylindrical cavity of body of second stage of reduction gear. Control valve is provided with rod having limiter and rod bar with rest. Outer surface of control valve has annular groove with radial conduits and axial conduit located along axis and communicating with radial conduits. Piston is manufactured in the form of washer with axial hole by means of which it is put on rod in bore so that internal cavity is additionally divided into two spaces in the form of closed cylinders with variable volume- space of unloading device and space of atmospheric pressure. Piston is equipped with pressure spring and high-pressure cavity communicates through conduit with cylindrical bore in partition. EFFECT: enhanced functional reliability. 1 dwg
