FIELD: medicine; stomatology. SUBSTANCE: surface area and resorption time are calculated of interstitial hemorrhage in the form of hematoma on gingival mucosa. Hematoma is induced by applying medicinal leech onto gingival mucosa in such manner as to limit hemoextraction period to some 3-5 min, and then surface area of hematoma and time for its resorption are calculated. EFFECT: reduced traumatology, cut short painful symptom and broadened indications for use.
