FIELD: medicine, dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: diagnostics of violations of microcirculation of periodontal tissues is performed using a vacuum test. The investigated area of the transitional folds of the gums is exposed to vacuum in the projection of the apex of tooth 1.3. The manipulations are performed with the help of KAP-Parodontolog apparatus (complex) with a negative pressure of 0.35 bar through a vacuum tube with a diameter of 8 mm and a length of 90 mm, the thickness of the transparent glass of which is 1 mm, the working end of the tube being bent at a right angle. The time of formation of petechiae is recorded per second during frame-by-frame analysis of the video recording using a digital microscope camera under 1,000-fold magnification.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to painlessly diagnose violations of microcirculation of periodontal tissues, improve the quality of diagnosis due to the accuracy of time indicators and negative pressure parameters, and reduce the duration of the procedure.
