FIELD: reflexotherapy; instruments for surface acupuncture. SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises handle carrying needle holder made in the form of cylindrical roller which surface carries plurality of needles with diameters 0.8-12 mm, 4.0-5.5 mm high, sharpened at angles 15-30 deg, sharpened needle tip is 0.2-0.5 mm thick. Needles are arranged on roller surface in chessboard order, in parallel to its longitudinal axis. Needles are sharpened either to taper or on two sides. Cylindrical roller is available in two embodiments: either it is rotatable about shaft rigidly secured in openings of roller holder, or it can be demountable and held by demountable shaft which revolves together with roller in openings formed in roller holder. Apparatus components are made of ebonite and stainless steel that permits their disinfection and sterilization when necessary.
