FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding an activated carbon impregnated with ascorbic acid to piglets beginning from 7-10 day age before and for 5-7 days after weanling at dose 0.1 g/kg live mass. Also, biotin is fed additionally 3-5 days before weanling and for 5-7 days after weanling at dose 0.05-0.1 g/kg live mass. EFFECT: decreased morbidity, increased safety and growth rate of piglets. 5 tbl
