FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: composition has water, bioadhesive polymer as a wetting agent and, preferably, a thickening agent. Bioadhesive component consists of macroparticles or fibers of water-swelling but water-insoluble structurized carboxy-functional polymer containing: multiple repeating links 80% of which have at least one carboxyl functional group and about 0.05-1.5% cross-linking agent which does not contain polyalkenyl polyester mainly. Thickening agent is a water-soluble or water-dispersed anionogenic or nonionogenic polymer. The indicated composition is subjected for contact with fabric to be wetted for sufficient time. Composition exhibits prolonged effect and comfort action being applied on body. EFFECT: improved method of wetting, improved quality and property. 57 cl, 3 dwg
