FIELD: rolled bar production, namely processes for rolling combined shapes for their subsequent separation and multistrand rolling. SUBSTANCE: method comprises one-strand rolling of blank, making rolled piece with zones for separating it by three strands, preparing said rolled piece for separation, separating it and rolling in three strands. Surface area of cross section of central portion of tripled rolled piece is increased relative to surface area of cross section of its two terminal portions. Relation of surface areas of said central portion and each terminal portion consists (1.05-1.2): 1.0. Tripled rolled piece is in the form of three ovals mutually joined by bridges along their small axes. Central oval has ratio of its large and small axes equal to 1:(1.05-1.15). AT preparing triple rolled piece for separation cross section areas of all its parts are equalized. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separation due to creation of metal stresses in zone of separation. 6 dwg
