FIELD: position control systems in cantilever squeezing presses for width reduction of rolled pieces. SUBSTANCE: press includes pressing tools arranged mutually opposite relative to motion direction of rolled piece and joined with drive unit for lengthwise feed. Press includes in addition hydraulic drive for lengthwise feed built-in to closed hydraulic system with low and high pressure pipelines; regulated with zero crossing reversing displacement pump being actuating link of position control circuit of lengthwise feed drive. Position control circuits are connected with synchronous regulator providing identical motion value of both lengthwise feed drive units. EFFECT: improved design. 7 cl, 2 dwg
