FIELD: materials handling; packing of flowing-state food products. SUBSTANCE: solid thermoplastic packing plate is folded along longitudinal axis to form two longitudinal parts. packing material is moved continuously, and longitudinal hermetic connection of folded packing material is carried out with forming of endless tubular member which is then filled with food product and flattened out forming continuous slice. Then cross connection of tubular member walls is done by compressing and forming hermetic cross seams arranged at a distance from each other and stretching over entire width of tubular member, thus forming separate slices in hermetically sealed envelopes. Device has special mechanism turning product into flowing mass, devices for moving thermoplastic packing material, its folding along longitudinal axis and longitudinal hermetic connection of packing material into endless tubular member, devices for filling tubular member with food product, flattening out the member and cross connection of sides of tubular members to form hermetic seams obtaining separate slices. Device for longitudinal connection of packing material has two fixed plates with wavy surfaces arranged opposite to each other with fixed clearance.
