FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has marking unit, conveyor for transportation of packaged food product, heating and sealing units. Food product is wrapped in tubular packaging material. Method of dosing individual wrapped food product involves deforming tubular material in direction perpendicular to tubular material length; forming first zone and making first marking line; pushing food product from first zone; applying force to tubular material with food product along second zone defined by second marking line; pushing further food product, with remaining food product enclosed between first and second marking lines forming individual dose of food product; upon forming of second marking line, relieving pressure applied to tubular material; heating tubular packaging material at zones adjacent to both marking lines; applying pressure to zones adjacent to marking lines for fastening packaging material, when predetermined temperature is achieved, and terminating packaging of dosed food product.
