FIELD: food industry; packing materials with reduced transfer of substance from packing to product and preventing appearance of undesirable taste and/or harmful substances. SUBSTANCE: proposed packing material uses hydrophobic zeolite which increases water repellent properties of cardboard. Invention provides method of manufacture of packing materials, such as paper, cardboard or panels by forming dehydrating suspension of fiber containing lignocellulose in the presence of hydrophobic zeolite.
