FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines with liquid cooling systems. SUBSTANCE: with engine operating at ambient temperatures exceeding +25 C, cooling liquid is heated to working temperature and delivered into radiator, and partially evaporated. Vapor is directed to condenser where it is condensed and condensate is delivered to evaporator where it is evaporated creating the temperature in evaporator lower than ambient temperature. Vapor from evaporator is delivered to cooling liquid inlet in jacket space and gets condensed at absorption by cooling liquid. EFFECT: improved service characteristics of cooling system by using the system for generation of cold in internal combustion engines for subsequent air conditioning under hot climate conditions. 1 dwg
