SUBSTANCE: self-aligning ball screw mechanism has body made in form of nut including fastened flanges 1 and 2, screw 5 fitted in body, balls 4 located in grooves of screw 5 and members for locking balls 4 in grooves of screw 5 fitted between inner surface of body and balls 4. Each member locking balls 4 in grooves of screw 5 is made in form of spring-loaded tab whose one end is secured on body and other end is made in form of seat; balls 4 are mounted in respective seats of spring-loaded tabs.
