FIELD: electrothermal equipment, in particular, resistor furnaces with a lining of fibrous heat-insulating materials mainly used in industrial continuous furnaces in various branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: the furnace has a housing, lining in the form of plates of hard fibrous materials arranged perpendicularly to the housing walls. Inclined grooves are made in the plate end faces to receive heaters in the form of coils wound on ceramic tubes. The tube ends are placed in intermediate members laid in the grooves. The intermediate members are made in the form of a ceramic split bush. A mounting seat having the configuration of the bush is made in the groove. Stacks of soft fibrous materials are positioned between the plates close to the housing walls. EFFECT: prevented mechanothermal stresses, reduced heat loss, reduced consumption of heat-resisting materials. 3 dwg
