FIELD: furnace linings made from fibrous refractory materials. SUBSTANCE: lining block (mainly, with overhead conveyor) comprises two perpendicular stacks of vertical plates made from fibrous ceramic material. End surface of one stack formed by ends of plates is inclined to vertical. Members of lining block are made from unequal angle profile, larger flange being connected with cheek. Member of block is mounted in its upper portion in such position that lesser flange is vertical relative to side surface of block and is sunken in its body in section formed by side surface of first stack. Cheek adjoins side surface of block in section formed by side surface of second stack. Cheek is provided with holes receiving metal rods. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 dwg
