FIELD: information displays. SUBSTANCE: method is used in liquid-crystal display unit with crossing signal and scanning electrodes and involves receiving signals of data to be displayed and information signals which have at least frame pulses and fixing pulses, use of data signals for generation of excitation signals for signal electrodes in periods of fixing pulses, generation of line excitation signal in corresponding period of fixing pulses. Said excitation signal is generated each line in frame starting from second. Finally excitation signals in suppression interval are inhibited when frame has been displayed. Duration of suppression interval is equal to given number of periods of fixing pulses. Excitation signal for first displaying line in next frame is generated in arbitrary but last period of fixing pulses in suppression interval.
