FIELD: detection of electromagnetic interference in electromagnetic equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves use of tested circuit of tested article as emitter. Device has two separate channels for excitation and measuring. Each channel has electronic-to-optical and optical-to-electronic converters which are connected by means of optical wires which provide galvanic isolation between tested article and measuring equipment. Current which is induced in article circuit is measured and compared to known required intensity of external magnetic field. Electromagnetic fields which are generated by system are safe for service personnel. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 3 cl, 2 dwg
