FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vehicles testing. In the anti-lock braking system testing method for susceptibility to the electromagnetic field, installing the vehicle with an anti-lock system in the test chamber on the simulator rollers, orienting it with relative to the field-forming system and implementing the driving cycles with the electromagnetic field effect to the vehicle. In the process, monitoring the anti-lock system parameters by means of located on the test chamber outer side information display device. Driving cycle includes the acceleration stage to the set speed and the braking stage. Braking stages are simulating slow or rapid braking. Braking time interval is embedded into the electromagnetic field action time interval. Braking stage begins with delay from the electromagnetic field onset. Anti-lock system performance is monitored by means of mounted on the anti-lock system unit broadband piezoelectric sensor.

EFFECT: anti-lock system operation is diagnosed.
