FIELD: animal care. SUBSTANCE: hygienic device has open reservoir, perforated supporting member with adsorbing member disposed within reservoir, moisture content sensor positioned above supporting member within adsorbing material and filtering insert disposed below supporting member and adapted for coarse air cleaning. Reservoir bottom is connected with air duct. Exhaust ventilator is arranged in air duct. Air fine cleaning filtering insert is positioned behind exhaust ventilator. Supporting member has animal detector. Exhaust ventilator is connected to animal detector through first input of timer and to moisture content sensor through comparator and second input of timer. Coarse air cleaning filtering insert prevents penetration of urine, animal wastes and adsorbing material particles into air duct and exhaust ventilator. Fine air cleaning filtering insert serves bactericide and aromatizer. Moisture content sensor is formed as regular structure composed of current-conductive members arranged on perforated supporting member in knots of imaginary grid with pitch of 2-5 cm and connected so that adjacent current-conductive members are connected to opposed poles of sensor output. Current-conductive members are disposed within adsorbing material. Device allows air to be cleaned from bad smells, when animal gets into reservoir regardless of moisture content extent of adsorbing material. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved animal keeping conditions. 2 cl, 2 dwg
