FIELD: fire-extinguishing equipment. SUBSTANCE: automatic fire-extinguisher has container for fire-extinguishing substance, working gas source for container pressure charging, fire-extinguishing substance discharge system, starting mechanism with temperature-sensitive member and striker. Temperature-sensitive member has casing, which is broken under the action of predetermined temperature. Striker has spring and step, which is brought into contact with spring-loaded retainer supported by temperature-sensitive member casing. In preferable versions of fire-extinguisher, temperature-sensitive member casing is made in the form of glass retort filled with liquid having high linear expansion coefficient. Casing may be equipped with electric heater connected through control panel with fire detector, or with electric wire connected through control panel with electric heaters of other fire-extinguishers. Gas generator may serve working gas source. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 1 dwg
