FIELD: combined processes of heat exchange and mass transfer in chemical, petrochemical, petroleum refining and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: the apparatus uses a tubular body, upper and lower chambers, upper and lower tube plates, heat-exchange pipes secured in the tube plates in such a manner that the pipe ends project above the upper tube plate, connected to the body of the heat-transfer agent outlet and inlet connection, liquid inlet and outlet connection, connected to the chambers on the opposite ends of the apparatus, gas connections connected to the chambers on the opposite ends of the apparatus, rack installed in parallel with the upper tube plate, furnished with holes and beads, pipe for supply of water from the liquid inlet connection to the rack, it has pipe connections in the rack holes made with solid walls; coaxially mounted on the central pipe connection is the liquid distribution chamber with solid walls hermetically sealed from the upper end and open from the lower end, the rack beads have toothed upper ends, and the pipe for supply of liquid from liquid inlet connection to the rack is tangentially connected to the liquid distribution chamber.
