FILM-TYPE EVAPORATOR Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2218970 C2

FIELD: film-type heat exchange apparatus; chemical, oil refining, food-processing, gas, electrical, metallurgical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed film-type evaporator has vertical cylindrical housing with end plates, upper and lower tube sheets, heat exchange tubes, film formers fitted at clearance inside upper ends of heat exchange tubes, pipe unions for inlet and outlet of liquid being treated, heating steam, vapor and condensate, pipe line made in form of coil which is located in lower portion of housing; its one end is connected with liquid inlet pipe union and rectilinear section is secured between tube sheets; liquid inlet pipe union is fitted in lower end plate of evaporator. Evaporator is additionally provided with ultrasonic transducer located in lower central portion of housing and provided with central through hole for pipe line. Rectilinear section of pipe line has length equal to (n+1)λ, where n=0,1,2,3...; λ is length of ultrasonic wave it is rigidly mounted in active radiating packing of ultrasonic transducer coaxially relative to it at common length equal to (m+1).λ, where m= 1,2,3 Rectilinear section of pipe line is rigidly connected with heat exchange tubes by means of tube sheets in zone of maximum antinode; length of heat exchange tubes is equal to (n+1).λ, their axes are parallel to central axis; upper and lower tube sheets lie in minimum zones of antinode; evaporator is additionally provided with heating steam inlet and outlet pipe unions fitted in upper portion of upper end plate. Film formers may be rigidly connected with heat exchange tube by means of bushes; length of film former is equal to k.λ, where k=1,2,3..; λ - is length of ultrasonic wave. EFFECT: extended functional capabilities; enhanced efficiency due to application of ultrasonic oscillations. 2 c;, 6 dwg
