FIELD: abrasives. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns polymer abrasive compositions used in manufacturing abrasive tools, e.g. abrasive disks designed for surface treatment of shaped parts of steel, aluminum, copper alloys, wood, stone, and other materials. Composition contains (in wt %): abrasive, 50-95; polymer synthesized from butadiene-nitrile rubber (binding agent), 4.5-44.5; and polyethylenepolyamine (hardener), 0.45-4.5. Preparation procedure includes mixing binding agent with hardener and cooling the mixture to attain solid state followed by disintegration and mixing, in solid state, with abrasive. Resulting mass is shaped and hardened at 20-80 C for 2-20 h. EFFECT: improved preparation procedure. 3 cl, 2 tbl
