FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device is intended for folding end-bottom of package made of cardboard and coated with plastic material. Package bottom when folded has rectangular form in plan and lateral sealing joint which can be bent. Device has main folding member and accompanying folding member which are moved over trajectories passing symmetrically to each other relative to vertical plane by means of single leverage. Each folding member is fastened on driving unit which is made in the form of at least one connecting lever provided with controllable actuator. Aforesaid trajectories are resulted from combined advancing and rotary motions. Located between main and opposite folding members is conveyer which carries packages in horizontal direction. Also provided is centering device and created above it is space free of any structural components for location of folding device. EFFECT: high efficiency. 9 cl, 9 dwg
