FIELD: production of superconducting materials. SUBSTANCE: barium nitrate, copper oxide and oxide of rare-earth metal are mixed to prepare compound having MBa2Cu3O7-x composition. Mixture is heated to 850-960 C, the process is carried out in crucible being manufactured of gold or silver; at temperature being higher 600-640 C heating rate is 50-100 C/h. Melt is allowed to stand within 1-3 h at 850-960 C and then it is cooled to 350-450 C, the process is carried out in oxygen-containing medium, cooling rate being 50-100 C/h. Then sustaining within 1-10 h at 350-450 C followed by cooling to room temperature takes place. Desired product is removed of crucible, ground and sieved. Then compressing and roasting within 1-3 h at 940-960 C are carried out. The process is followed by cooling to 350-450 C, cooling rate being 50-100 C/h. Thus obtained product is allowed to stand within 1-10 h at 350-450 C and then it is cooled to room temperature.
