Method involves interaction of isobutylene fractions isobutylene with methanol as concentrated an aqueous solution of methanol containing 5-10 wt.-% water on sulfocation-exchange resin in -form at parallel feeding fraction at 20-100 C in tube or reaction-fractionating reactors. Crude methanol containing 0.05-0.15 wt. -% dimethyl ether can be used as methanol concentrated an aqueous solutions. Method can be used in petrochemical industry.
