FIELD: sealing of various structures from metal, plastic material, glass, and wood. SUBSTANCE: sealing composition comprises (wt %): 4-10 polyisobutylene or butyl rubber; 13-20 mineral oil 1-4 resin; 0.8-1.8 paraffin of stearine alloy with petrolatum at weight ratio of 3:1, and the filler balance. Composition has greater adhesion to polystyrene. Ultimate tensile strength at room temperature is 0.55 MPa, at minus 40 C is 0.5 MPa and greater temperature resistance (plastic material drips along seam samples at 150 C for 3 hours).
