SUBSTANCE: rubber sealing composition includes high-molecular weight polyisobutylene or butyl rubber or a mixture thereof, mineral oil, petrolatum and filler and is characterised by that it additionally includes low-molecular weight polyisobutylene, a phenol-type antioxidant and a modifier - glycerol and sulphur in weight ratio of 3:1, with the following ratio of components, wt %: high-molecular weight polyisobutylene or butyl rubber or a mixture thereof 3.5-12.0, low-molecular weight polyisobutylene 3.0,-10.0, mineral oil 8.0-18.0, phenol-type antioxidant 0.5-2.0, petrolatum 8.5-9.5, modifier (glycerol-sulphur 3:1) 0.80-3.2, filler - the balance.

EFFECT: higher bonding strength with metal surfaces and surfaces coated with powder paint and preserving bonding strength after tests.
