FIELD: power engineering; use of energy of compressed gas or vapor contained in liquid used as working medium. SUBSTANCE: screw gas- expansion machine is used as thermal engine; pressure of working medium is reduced simultaneously with evaporation and use of energy of released gas or vapor for obtaining mechanical energy converted into electric energy. Geothermal water, superheated water from hot-water boilers or gas-saturated oil is used as working medium. Proposed method may be used at geothermal power stations at degassing gas-saturated oil and use of superheated water in hot-water boilers. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 1 dwg
