FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: wire is produced from NB3Al material possessing high superconducting properties and uniform characteristic. Composite material incorporating niobium and aluminium is shaped to obtain composite wire Nb/Al composed of niobium or its alloy and aluminium or its alloy. During heat treatment, composite wire is passed through increased-temperature region of furnace for heating it from room temperature to preset point; then heated composite wire is passed through furnace temperature maintenance region to exposed it to mentioned preset temperature. Wire held at mentioned preset temperature is then passed through cooling region to cool it down from mentioned preset temperature to room temperature. For final operation, it is also subjected to heat treatment. Mentioned heating, exposure, and cooling operations are made continuously while displacing wire throughout entire process. EFFECT: improved superconducting properties and uniformity of characteristics of wire produced. 7 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
