FIELD: equipment for plant growing constructions with protected ground. SUBSTANCE: plants are placed on T-shaped shelf 1 with foldable panels 2 pivotally attached to shelf edges. Artificial light sources 3 are attached on panels 2 so as to define arced tent above plants, when sources 3 are mounted in working position. Such arrangement allows light and heat energy losses to be minimized. At daytime, when natural light and heat radiation are sufficient for plant growing, panels may be folded below shelf to completely open plants and provide access of sun light to plants. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwg
