FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used to create covered atriums having an rooflight in the upper part. Rooflight for an atrium includes a dome in the form of a truncated cone with a coating, the lower base of which is fixed in the movable elements of the rotary device. In the centre of the atrium there is a column, and the coating of the truncated cone is made transparent, light-reflecting and heat-insulating in the form of flexible films, wherein the upper base of the truncated cone is attached to the annular element moving vertically along the column with the possibility of setting its lower position in the atrium and providing rotation of the top of the dome around the column. Movable elements of the rotary device provide orientation of the light-permeable surface of the dome relative to the sun, are connected in a ring with possibility of movement along a circular rail wall cornice mounted on the walls of the atrium.

EFFECT: reduced wind load on coatings.
