FIELD: protective coatings. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions applied for finishing concrete and stucco surfaces to be protected against radiations. Known composition based on clay and optical glass wastes manifest unsatisfactory protective characteristics. More acceptable ones are achieved with composition containing (in wt %): liquid glass, 50.0- 54.1; sodium silica-fluoride, 5.0-5.4; optical glass wastes, 13.5- 25.7; barium sulfate, 12.5-16.3; and magnetite, 4.0-13.5. EFFECT: improved protective characteristics.
