FIELD: agricultural mechanical engineering, food industry, civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: gear metering loose materials has drum 1 set in rotation by shaft 2, cam disc 3 engaging cells of drum, bushing 4 on which cam disc 3 is put, carrier 5 anchored on bushing 4 and engaging shaft 6 by means of closed guiding groove 7 made in shaft 6. Cam disc 3 and carrier 5 are anchored on bushing 4 with the aid of ring 8 and nut 9. As version carrier 5 can be manufactured in the form of ball 10 placed into socket 11 of bushing 4 and interacting with guiding groove 7. Rotating drum 1 sets in motion cam disc 3 that is coupled to carrier travelling along guiding groove 7 which results in reciprocating motion of cam disc along axis of drum and in cleaning of cells of drum from stuck material.
