FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: range finder increases accuracy of determination of range without enlargement of base due to insertion of two units of fiber-optical converters with elongated lines, two auxiliary television sensors, second sweep generator, counter, permanent storage and adder. Units of fiber-optical converters are built into screens of proper first and second videocontrol devices which optical outputs are connected through first and second units of fiber-optical converters to optical inputs of first and second auxiliary television sensors which outputs are correspondingly connected to inputs of first and second selectors of amplitude and duration and which inputs are coupled to output of second sweep generator also connected through counter. Permanent storage is connected to second input of adder which first input and output are correspondingly connected to output of measurement device and to input of range indicator.
