FIELD: microwave engineering; adjustment of quantity produced ferrite waveguide circulators. SUBSTANCE: during quantity production, natural-oscillation spectra of magnetized ferrite cavity are pre-calculated and compared experimentally at two reversed polarities; geometry of ferrite cavity, its physical parameters, and magnetizing field strength are chosen proceeding from following conditions; oscillation frequency fn of magnetized ferrite cavity of single azimuthal variation coincides with central frequency fц of service bend Δf at saturation direction ensuring desired circulation direction: fn=fц; in frequency range of fn to f-n, where f-n is oscillation frequency of magnetized ferrite cavity of single azimuthal variation rotating in direction opposite to frequency fn, other natural oscillations of magnetized ferrite cavity do not occur; condition Δf, where Δf < 2Δfmax,, is natural oscillation frequency of magnetized ferrite cavity closest to fc, should be true for desired service band of frequencies fn.
