FIELD: plastic metal working; may be used in manufacture of hollow axisymmetric parts from high-strength steels. SUBSTANCE: initial blank is deformed on rotary mandrel by several conical rollers. Continuous center of deformation is separated into several zones successively located along mandrel axis and inclined to it at various angles. Angle value rises from the beginning to the end of deformation center. Acted on rollers are equal radial loads. For this purpose, they are displaced in radial direction. Value of displacement is determined depending on value of total deformation on worked section and geometric parameters of rollers. Vertexes of cones of rollers are located in the same plane, square to mandrel rotation axis. As a result, high quality parts are produced for one pass. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
