FIELD: gas industry; making of underground storage for liquid oil products. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes drilling and fastening of well, defrosting of permafrost in noncased interval of well by delivering warmer, maintaining water temperature in reservoir not higher than temperature corresponding to maximum density of water plus 4 C to form stable roof and delivering defrosted rock to surface along working column. Novelty is use of superheated steam as warmer. Water formed at thawing of ice and condensation of steam is periodically pumped out and returned into reservoir in form of steam. Water temperature in reservoir is maintained by regulating delivery of steam. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 1 dwg
