FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this protective structure can be used in zone of possible flooding. Its body is made up of protective hermetic shell of disk-like configuration and is installed in reinforced concrete box through intermittent resilient supporting spacers. Shell has portholes above equatorial rib and manhole atop. Body over equatorial rib and box over side-board perimeter are provided with embedded parts to which pivotally attached are telescopic connecting members. Space between side-board of box and manhole is crossed-over by sector grates lying over trusses and decking. Grates and trusses are pivotally connected to embedded parts of box. Drain funnel is provided in lower point of box. Connecting members have perforated metal hood. Installed in hood are perforated metal pipes inserted into each other with clearance. They have limiters at their ends. Spring is installed between middle pipe and hood bottom. Attached to middle pipe and to hood bottom at ends of connecting member are supporting journals. Design of structure substantially cuts amount of materials needed for manufacture and various other costs for watching and evacuation of people finding protection in this structure. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 3 dwg
