FIELD: methods and device for removal of liquid lubricants from bearing units revolving around axes of shafts. SUBSTANCE: device is used for removal of liquid lubricant from bearing unit revolving around axis 1 of shaft 2. Bearing unit includes bearing 3 supporting shaft 2, sliding bearing for example and at least one sealing device adjacent to it. Sealing device consists of seal 4 embracing shaft 2 and accumulating space 5 between seal 4 and bearing 3 surrounding shaft 2. Space 5 is used for receiving the lubricant flowing along shaft 2 form bearing 3 and discharging it. According to invention, lubricant moved in accumulating space 5 by shaft 2 around axis 1 is entrapped by devices 8 and is discharged without any loss of speed. Thus, transportation action caused by revolving shaft 2 is used for removal of lubricant from bearing unit. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 8 cl, 4 dwg
