Unit which forms object beam providing for conversion of image foreshortenings in sagittal plane from control signals coming from control signal unit is installed at modulator optical output. Object beam unit also generates signals designed to control light electron-beam modulator, laser and tape-transport mechanism on the basis of signals of foreshortening number code in frame and frame number coming to its input from video tape recorder.
