FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: holographic virtual display comprises at least one source of coherent light, the first optical element with at least one forming hologram on its surface and phase spatial light modulator connected to control unit. The first optical element is arranged to direct illuminating bunch from source of light on forming hologram, which is designed to form illuminating bunch and to direct it on high resolution phase optical spatial modulator, which is able to generate virtual holographic image on set position in front of viewer, and control unit is made to control spatial phase modulator.
EFFECT: display modification.
