FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of forming holographic images using coherent and incoherent radiation. Method of remote formation of a holographic recording involves illumination of 3D object, formation of an interference pattern on the radiation scattered by it and along a reference beam, which is a hologram. Holographic object is alternately illuminated with incoherent light and light with interference bands formed in advance, whose period corresponds to an infrared range or a longer wavelength range of electromagnetic radiation, or ultraviolet depending on requirements for accuracy of object topography transmission, photographing an object without strips and with strips projected onto it, creating a topographic map of the surface of the holographic object on the curvature of said strips and then transmitting said two images (photograph and topographic map) at a distance along a communication channel with subsequent on a receiving end of a communication line by connection of these two images into volumetric 3D image of an object, which is further used as an object image during computer calculation of a hologram consisting of interference strips between a computer object beam with 3D image of the object thus formed and computer synthesized reference beam, and then, after recording the hologram thus obtained on the material carrier, the latter, when illuminated with the reference restoring beam, restores the holographic image.

EFFECT: invention improves quality of a holographic image with reduced volume of transmitted information.
