METHOD FOR DRAWING LOTTERY AWARDS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: computer engineering, drawing lotteries with given total award. SUBSTANCE: each lottery ticket has at least one bingo-type number set with numbers which are arranged in rows and columns as well as unique identifier of each lottery ticket. Unique identifier of lottery ticket and row of number set are stored in first register which is designed for reading by microprocessor. Then series of number sequences is generated and stored in second register. Each number sequence is unique and provides number of award rows of numbers in number sets. This number corresponds to given total award. One number sequence in second register is selected using random draw. This selected number sequence is compared to number rows in first register by means of microprocessor and unique identifiers are detected which point to number sets with awarded number row.
