FIELD: sports equipment. SUBSTANCE: golf club head has enclosure with tip and heel parts, rear wall, front wall defining ball striking surface, upper and lower walls. Lower wall has mid projection and two convex hollow depressions. One depression is disposed between projection and heel part and other depression is disposed between projection and tip part. Depressions are separated from front wall and have peripheral arced edges with convexity oriented toward heel part. Depressions are positioned in symmetry one with respect to vertical plane dissecting projection. Tip and heel part depression edges are substantially spaced from peripheral contour of golf club head. Area A of head lower wall exceeds area B of depressions, projection and bevel behind projection by more than 1.6 times. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction. 14 cl, 16 dwg
