FIELD: practice of cleaning of gas blowouts. SUBSTANCE: installation uses absorber 1 with inlet (2) and outlet (3) gas branch pipes, pan 4 with absorbent located above working vessel 5 and electrolyzer 6; in addition, absorber 1 has inlet (7) and outlet (8) gas chambers located respectively on the side of outlet (3) and inlet (2) gas branch pipes, gas-distributing (9) and gas- collecting (10) systems made of tubes with a porous structure and located respectively in pan 4 and upper part of working vessel 5; each tube has a stopper on one side, on the other side the tubes of gas-distributing system 9 are connected to inlet gas chamber 7, and the tubes of gas-collecting system 10 are connected to outlet gas chamber 8, at least one of the tubes of gas-distributing system 9 is shorter than all other tubes, and electrolyzer 6 is made of two vertical plates installed in pan 4 on the side of the stopped end of the shorter tube; aqueous solution of salts of alkali and/or alkaline-earth metals is used as absorbent.
